| character ↴ Maya is a traveler who collects people's stories! In her world, the only concept of an afterlife is your living memory, what story you leave behind. She does the service of collecting stories and spreading them, bringing ease to mourning families and telling stories for any occasion. Maya herself drank from the fountain of youth... she is now functionally immortal, though still too "young" to have properly created a presence for herself larger than that of an urban legend.
